Colour Temperature Control

Our Colour Temperature Control System allows you to enhance your art by varying the colour output from our picture light via a small remote.

This cannot be achieved by illuminating with single source bulbs like incandescent or halogen.

The art work below shows the colour temperature changing from a candle temperature through to daylight.

The advantage of this system is you have the power to slightly change the color of the light allowing you full control over your paintings look and feel.

For example with the painting of the ship below, the colour of the scene can be tweaked to bring out the red flag and figures on the ship. These details can be lost with conventional lighting. This gives you full control over the display of tones and hues in your painting, lighting your painting to best effect!

The best temperature for the above art work is 3000K to Halogen. The remote also has a dimming feature from zero/off to maximum. Being able to choose your illumination temperature onto your art gives a staggering effect. See our Tonal Control System which is more complex.
