Halogen Bulbs

Our 240v Halogen lights are suitable for direct wiring to a 240v mains supply.

Our lights come ready for use from the box and are easy to install.

The Halogen picture lights accept 35, 60 and 75 Watt Halogen Halopin bulbs - Bulb Life 2000 hrs.

The light is provided to be installed, hard-wired, with three-wires for the 120v version or a plug can be fitted.

Our Halogen light conforms to CIBSE (museum lighting guide) for UV output.

No wires are located in the hood of the light. This unique design feature prevents wires overheating and becoming brittle with age.

Full horizontal adjustment and a patented vertical adjustment system that enables the user to exactly frame the illumination onto the painting - our light will fit to frame or wall.

Our light is easily adjusted by you so that it illuminates only on the picture itself - attached to the frame or Wall - any size or shape of painting from 10 inches across and high through to 60 inches across and high! - However, if you do have a large painting please contact us as we can accommodate larger paintings.

Our LED light has been in development for the last 4 years. To date LED technology has not been able to match the Incandescent/Halogen light output. Development carried out by Hogarth with a leading L.E.D. manufacturer has resulted in an L.E.D. to 200 Lumen (equivalent to 40 watts incandescent) with the same temperature output of 3150 Kelvin and up to 5500 Kelvin for Marine Paintings If you need guidance on the bulb temperature you need contact us.

Conforming to the Global Museum standard for LUX (Brightness} levels with ZERO UV and ZERO HEAT this development has taken the Illumination of Fine ART to a new high.
